In 1999, at the age of 14, Bobby Lee Good started his racing career in the Sportsman division. After having continued success, Bobby eventually worked his way up into the Super Late Model division with his father. Leading into his senior season of football, Bobby put racing to the side to focus on his childhood dream of being a college athlete. He was awarded a full scholarship to play football at East Carolina University, and earned a contract to play with the Detroit Lions in 2007. A shoulder injury cut his NFL career short and he quickly came home to start his career. In 2008, Bobby became the house driver for Briar Racing and continues to enjoy the competitive nature and fulfillment that racing brings to him.
