- To be able to operate and drive a dump truck with air brakes and a hydraulic ram on highways, streets, dirt and rock roads in a safe and efficient manner.
- Will be required to be able to haul dirt, gravel, asphalt, dura rock, lime rock, sand, soil cement, muck or any other loose material which may be needed for total site construction.
As directed, may perform any combination of the following tasks:
- Should have 1 year minimum experience in the laying of sewer, storm and water pipe line.
- Should be able to read engineer’s ruler and grade rod.
- Job involved bending and manual labor.
- May be used to set up and break down hydraulic pumps and silt fence installation.
- Must recognize and show attention to detail, how to use quick cut gas saw, knowledge of bolt tightening and mud work, knowledge of slings and cables.
As directed, may perform any combination of the following tasks:
- Understanding the theory of operation of engines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems and computers and the operation of brakes and drive lines.
- Must understand how to repair all of the above.
- Knowledge of welding and bronze metals

- Operator must do a walk around inspection daily, checking for leaks, broken parts, cracks in metal, worn pins, hoses or anything that looks out of place.
- Check oil, coolant, belts, hoses and hydraulic oil.
- Needs to have some knowledge about site work, how to dig ponds and get trucks loaded quickly.
- Must be able to put up slopes.
- May be used to stake and grade retention pond slopes and lots.
- May be used to set up and break down hydraulic pumps and silt fence installation.
- Unload pipe and structures from trucks.
- Keep machine clean and let foreman know when something goes wrongs.

In this day of rising health care costs, it is comforting to know that the company currently pays 60% of each team member’s health insurance (at 60 days of employment). The company executes health plans with team members and their families in mind; only the best plans are considered.
The company provides paid holidays and vacation days for team members who have been with the company for the requisite time. After 6 months, 4-6 paid holidays and after one year, 1 week of vacation, 2 weeks of vacation thereafter.
Each year at Thanksgiving and Christmas, the company presents each team member with a ham or turkey for their holiday dinner. Throughout the year, the company sponsors various events for all the team members, including quarterly barbecues, Annual Family Picnic, Foreman’s Outing, and the Annual Christmas Party to name a few.

Yes, the company recently decided to extend their generosity when it comes to team member loyalty by presenting every 30-year team member, with a check in the amount of $30,000 and an individual appreciation plaque. Their picture is also added to a framed photo gallery located on the Wall of Fame in the Main Office along with all other previous 30-year employees.
The Briar Team Profit Sharing Plan will help to prepare you and your family for your financial future. You may contribute a percentage (from 0% to 100%) of your pay on a pre-tax basis. After being on the plan for one year, the company may make a discretionary contribution to your account.
